Heat Conduction

Heat conduction is a quite another physical phenomenon in comparison to the bar of Section 2. Concerning the building practice, an analysis of temperature fields is required according to completely different tasks. Regarding buildings, thermal bridges are analysed as well as the efficiency of heat exchangers, the thermal curing of bulky concrete devices, and the heat conduction in the case of fire etc. Foundation ground freezing is applied to stabilise the soil if the ground is not sufficiently strong to perform a tunnel excavation or similar actions, or if partly–saturated soils are present.
