Integration of Refugee Teachers into the Labour Market by the Example of a Certificate Course at the University of Vienna
摘要
Universities are increasingly responsible for developing educational measures that help to respond to socio-political problems. Since 2015, refugees have become a new target group for university continuing education: Here, continuing education measures are being developed for people who have already completed their first degree and gained professional experience in their home country. This article shows how the labour market integration of refugee teachers into the labour market “school” can succeed, using the example of the certificate course “Fundamentals of Educational Science for Teachers with a Refugee Background” at the University of Vienna.
