Keep Turning the Wheel of Youth Culture Research

In the last contribution of this volume, the building blocks for reconstruction and their possible common axes of meaning are once again explored in an overarching and reflexive manner, which run through the volume like a flexible backbone. They indicate a shift in the focus of youth culture research to mediality and materiality; for example, it is body styles that create affiliations and orientation in everyday activités de bricolages, from beauty practices to self-harm.
