Solidarity, Gender, Dialogue in the A.I. era

Freire’s theory has had a significant impact on feminist pedagogy. Feminists have been able to adapt to his ideas to meet the specific needs of women’s education. Freire recognized that analyzing the complex phenomenon of oppression required giving due attention to gender issues. He believed that one of the fundamental postulates of education is the ontological equality of all people. Therefore, he recognized the need for a new educational practice to realize the dream of fighting against all forms of oppression and freedom. For the past 200 years, feminists have fought for equality in areas such as voting rights, property ownership, education, emancipation, equal pay, breaking the glass ceiling, empowerment, and respect in the workplace. Technology has been a field of competition between genders, with women striving to overcome gender inequalities and gain empowerment through the use of new technologies. Shortly, artificial intelligence (A.I.) is expected to play an increasingly important role in our daily lives. As women constitute more than half of the world’s population, it is crucial to examine how A.I. will impact gender equality and ensure that women will have equal opportunities for “technological equality” as men, mitigating the effects of A.I. automatisation on job displacement. Freirian ideas and their application to artificial intelligence may increase the chances for a better morally righteous world for both genders.
