Isolation, Application and Signification of Plant’s Originated Natural Colorants
摘要
Dyes and pigments, whether of natural or synthetic origin, not only enhance the aesthetic appeal of the world but also serve diverse functional applications, including their use in pharmaceuticals, corrosion inhibition, and antimicrobial agents. Synthetic colorants more or less pose environmental and health issues while natural PBDs are comparable environment benign. Due to poor binding capacity with fabrics, less production than the requirement, and high cost, PBDs were recently less preferably produced by dye-producing industries and least used by-dye-consuming industries. The synthetic dye exhibits good binding with fabrics, available abundantly at low cost and if used constantly these will create very hazardous environmental issues that cannot be solved at the expense of a lot of money. Thus PBDs have several issues in application but they are safe and application issues like poor binding are being solved. Recently, scientists and researchers have been working to develop sustainable PBDs. as alternatives to the hazardous synthetic dyes this will also strengthen the economy of dyes plant cultivating farmers.
