Chitayat Syndrome (CHYTS)
摘要
Chitayat Syndrome (CHYTS) is a rare condition which was first described by Chitayat and colleagues in 1993 in a French-Canadian boy who was presented with hyperphalangism, partial syndactyly, facial anomalies, and diffuse bronchomalacia (Chitayat et al. 1993). The most common features are musculoskeletal abnormalities and respiratory distress due to bronchomalacia or interstitial lung disease (Balasubramanian et al. 2017; Suter et al. 2020). Currently, about 16 individuals with CHYTS or suspected cases have been reported and the age of onset is during neonatal period (Suter et al. 2020).
