摘要

Sabinas brittle hair syndrome is a form of nonphotosensitive trichothiodystrophy (TTD). It was first described in 1981 by Howel and was first observed in a small community in northern Mexico named Sabinas. It commonly presents with brittle hair, mental retardation, and nail dysplasia and can be diagnosed early in life.
