摘要

In 1952, Dr. Minor Ito reported a case of linear hypopigmentation on the trunk and arms accompanied by breast asymmetry in a 22-year-old female patient. Ito called this case “incontinentia pigmenti achromians.” The reason for this nomenclature is the presence of depigmentation in a pattern similar to the hyperpigmentation areas observed in incontinentia pigmenti. The extension along the Blaschko lines observed in some neurocutaneous diseases is also present in Hypomelanosis of Ito (Ream 2015).
