ADULT Syndrome is one of six TP63-related disorders that have overlapping features: (1) EEC3 syndrome (ectrodactyly, ectodermal dysplasia, cleft lip/palate syndrome 3), (2) acro-dermo-ungual-lacrimal-tooth (ADULT) syndrome, (3) SHFM4 syndrome (or Limb-mammary syndrome), (4) ankyloblepharon-ectodermal defects-cleft lip/palate (AEC) syndrome (which includes Rapp-Hodgkin syndrome), (5) isolated cleft lip/cleft palate (orofacial cleft 8), and (6) split-hand/foot malformation (type 4) (Salinas et al. 1992).
