Gershoni-Baruch first described this syndrome in 1990 (Gershoni-Baruch et al. 1990). The Gershoni-Baruch syndrome is a complex disorder characterized by omphalocele, diaphragmatic hernia, radial ray defects, and cardiovascular problems. Omphalocele usually contains parts of the liver and intestines (Valfrè et al. 2016). Some patients may not be diagnosed because of a lack of information about this condition. This syndrome has only a few reported cases, and its incidence or prevalence is unknown. Moreover, there is still uncertainty about the precise diagnosis of some reported cases due to their diverse signs and symptoms. Gershoni-Baruch syndrome usually manifests during the fetal period (Valfrè et al. 2016).
