Cannabis Workers
摘要
The global expansion of cannabis for medical and recreational use brings with it a growing workforce to support the industry. Occupational safety and potential dermatologic risks have not been fully characterized in the budding cannabis industry. Cutaneous reactions including allergic contact dermatitis and type I hypersensitivity in cannabis workers and (due to the paucity of occupational reports) recreational users are highlighted. The diagnosis of cannabis-related allergy may include patch testing and/or skin prick testing to raw cannabis. This chapter underscores the necessity for further research into the dermatologic effects of occupational cannabis exposure.
