Butchers and Slaughterhouse Workers
摘要
Butchers and slaughterhouse workers rarely have occupational skin diseases despite the massive exposure to both irritants and allergens including delayed-type and immediate-type allergens. Irritant contact dermatitis is the most common reported occupational skin disease and is predominantly caused by frequent wet work exposure. In Europe also bacterial and viral infections in slaughterhouse workers is uncommon, but infections can be seen worldwide.
