Staged Hex-Based Correction of Congenital Multiplanar Foot Deformity with Delayed Arthrodesis
摘要
The case presents a staged correction of ankle and foot deformities in Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease using an orthopedic hexapod Ortho-SUV Frame (OSF). At the first stage (17 days), a gradual correction of the pes equinus position was performed. At the second stage (22 days), the deformity of the hindfoot was gradually corrected. At the third stage (51 days), the equinovarus and adduction deformities of the midfoot were corrected. The total deformity correction period was 90 days. In the fourth step, once the deformity correction was completed, transition for internal fixation was done. Good anatomical and functional results were achieved.
