Subtalar Distraction with Staged ICBG for Severe Calcaneal Malunion
摘要
A 50-year-old female was treated for a severe calcaneal malunion with staged reconstruction due to significant calcaneal collapse and deformity. This included gradual subtalar distraction and re-alignment with hexapod ring external fixation methods, followed by open arthrodesis with internal fixation and iliac crest bone graft. The subtalar arthrodesis healed with complete relief of preoperative symptoms and the ability to do physical activities.
