Digital Twin technology that has been developed to make manufacturing systems more efficient and flexible can be considered one of the most noticeable technologies that are among the Industry 4.0 paradigm [1, 4]. The given paper will describe the entire process of defining a Digital Twin of the ACOPOStrak system using the assistance of Automation Studio of B&R Industrial Automation within the context of Automation Studio version 2020 [22]. ACOPOStrak is an innovative motion-control system, a shuttle architecture and a process-oriented programming system stand-alone [2, 17]. The steps of setting up the ACOPOStrak system in Automation Studio are given, [22] which incorporates CPU timing plan, incorporation of a package named Trak Oval configuration, and hardware specific configuration procedures. The Scene Viewer can simulate and verify these processes in real time, which is facilitated by the combination of Digital Twin models and can offer correct diagnostics and enhanced shuttle movements [21]. Digital Twin solution application is applicable in the field of individual filling, pharmaceutical production, and customized food processing lines [6, 12]. The results of the experimental performance can testify to the fact that the overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), return on investment (ROI) and time to market (TTM) increase considerably [13, 14]. The ACOPOStrak Digital Twin is another new step in industrial automation that promotes the high quality intelligence and flexibility of the manufacturing systems [15, 17].
