Awareness of cybersecurity is necessary in the situation of increasing cyberattacks. Traditional education methods lack the participation of users or their interest. For the above challenge, we designed Hawkeye, a website that increases cybersecurity awareness based on the principles of human-computer interaction. Four chosen cyberattack situations are introduced in Hawkeye by intense, scenario-based gameplay, which allows users to participate actively in realistic threats. The suggested system provides a gamified approach to cybersecurity. The results show that the proposed solution’s usage of interactive learning enhances users’ engagement and retention of the content. Cyber awareness and defense would be further aided by integration with real-world data and real-time cyber news updates.
