Nonclinical Careers
摘要
A few decades ago, doctors spent their entire careers as clinical practitioners. Today, it is becoming more common for doctors to opt out of clinical medicine and seek nonclinical careers. Doctors have been frustrated, discouraged, and often burned out on clinical medicine. As a result, many physicians are seeking alternatives to traditional clinical careers. This chapter outlines numerous options available to physicians considering leaving clinical practice. The chapter outlines the prerequisites for alternative careers and provides salary information and advice for doctors interested in nonclinical careers.
