The alignment with the seventeen overarching goals of United Nations SDGs have setup the agenda for the 2030. The framework of SDGs specially the SDGs 17 (Partnerships for the Goals), 15 (Life on Land), 13 (Climate Action), 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), and 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure) connect with how carbon emission can be spotted on the SDGs canvas. The Greenhouse Gas Protocol, the Carbon Disclosure Project, creates a setup to work together, to enhance accountability and transparency with respect to carbon emission. This study examines how carbon accounting serves as a critical marker for implementing and monitoring the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), enabling more effective measurement and tracking of contributions from industrial sectors and other stakeholders. The following work is an attempt to connect how carbon accounting can be a marker in implanting connecting the study highlights the supporting role of carbon accounting for a positive climate action for a sustainably developed world.
