Bridging the Gap: Overcoming Barriers to SDGs Implementation
摘要
The concept of sustainable development has been presented to world leaders for the continuity of natural resources, energy, food, water and other resources that future generations can access. Although the necessity of sustainable development is accepted, the difficulties encountered in the sustainable and green transition process of both developed and developing countries have led to rethinking sustainability. The 2030 Sustainable Development Goals have guided the world with 17 basic goals and sub-goals for the areas that need to be sustainable soon and that need to change. However, many countries have experienced great difficulties in the progress of the 2030 SDGs adopted in 2015 and some goals are still considered very distant. At this point, the aim of the study is to examine the difficulties and problems encountered in achieving sustainable development goals through investigating individual and organizational challenges.
