Introduction: Breast cancer, the most prevalent neoplasm in adult and elderly women, imposes a complex therapeutic journey that requires profound physical and psychosocial adaptation. In a constantly evolving health scenario, digital technologies emerge as a revolutionary tool capable of catalyzing self-care, actively promoting autonomy, health literacy, and continuous and personalized support. Aim: To map the existing evidence on the contribution of digital technologies in promoting self-care for women undergoing treatment for breast cancer. Methods: A scoping review was conducted based on the JBI methodology, guided by the PCC (Population, Concept, and Context) strategy. The search focused on databases such as MEDLINE, CINAHL, Scopus, Web of Science, SciELO, and Google Scholar, including studies published between 2000 and 2025, in Portuguese, English, and Spanish. Findings: 589 articles were identified, of which 213 duplicates were eliminated. After screening by title and analysis of the abstract, 357 articles were excluded based on eligibility criteria. 26 articles were selected for full reading, resulting in the inclusion of 19 studies for final review. The interventions analyzed included mobile applications, chatbots, digital rehabilitation programs, and “Internet + “ models. A significant improvement was observed in symptom control, therapeutic adherence, emotional well-being, and quality of life. Comparative studies demonstrated similar effectiveness between digital and face-to-face follow-up, with the latter showing a more significant emotional impact. An evolution was observed in the incorporation of remote monitoring and interactive communication, reinforcing the personalization of care and continuity of care. Conclusion: Digital technologies are indispensable resources, representing an effective and strategic complement to nursing care practice. Their integration not only enhances individual empowerment but also redefines the continuity of care, ensuring a better quality of life for women with breast cancer.
