Gannan navel orange, as a characteristic agricultural product of Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province, is also a national geographical indication product of China, with an annual output of up to one million tons. Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province, has become the largest navel orange production area in the world and the third largest navel orange production area in the world. The yield of Gannan navel orange is affected by many factors, such as temperature, sunshine, precipitation and other meteorological factors, which play a key role in the growth process of Gannan navel orange. Methods: Based on the meteorological data and navel orange yield data of Ganzhou, the effects of temperature, precipitation and sunshine on navel orange yield were studied by visual analysis. The dynamic correlation between meteorological conditions and navel orange production was revealed by time series analysis, spatial distribution map and correlation analysis. The results showed that suitable temperature and precipitation conditions were crucial for navel orange growth. The results could help navel orange growers in southern Jiangxi to cope with meteorological problems more effectively, explore better planting methods and improve economic benefits.
