Observation on the Therapeutic Effect of Shuangdan Mingmu Capsules Combined with Calcium Dobesilate on the Fundus and Visual Acuity of Patients with Diabetic Retinopathy
摘要
To explore the therapeutic effects of combining Shuangdan Mingmu Capsules with calcium dobesilate on retinal fundus conditions and visual acuity in patients with diabetic retinopathy. Convenient sampling was used to select 120 patients with diabetic retinopathy who were treated in our hospital from July 2020 to March 2023 for the study. Using computer-generated randomization, the patients were allocated into either the control group or the observation group, with 60 participants in each. In addition to standard therapy, the control group received calcium dobesilate monotherapy, whereas the observation group was administered a combination of calcium dobesilate and Shuangdan Mingmu capsules. The clinical efficacy was evaluated between the groups, and the serum VEGF, PDGF, and IL-1 of the patients before and after the intervention were analyzed. The syndrome score and CLVQOL score of the patients were evaluated as a whole, and the results of the routine ophthalmic examination of the patients after the intervention were analyzed to assess whether adverse reactions occurred in the patients. Efficacy evaluation revealed a significantly higher total response rate in the observation group (95%) compared with the control group (83.33%). After the intervention, the syndrome score of the observation group was 88.84 ± 14.30 and the CLVQOL score was 113.30 ± 10.5, while that of the control group was 136.19 ± 18.5 and the CLVQOL score was 89.80 ± 8.25. The macular thickness was 306.50 ± 11.18 in the observation group and 1.98 ± 0.41 in the control group. Post-intervention assessments demonstrated statistically significant variations in the evaluation results of serum VEGF, PDGF, and IL-1 indicators of each investigation target in patients after intervention (all P < 0.05). No statistically significant difference was observed in the incidence of adverse reactions among patients during the intervention period (P > 0.05). Clinical treatment was mainly conducted on the patients with diabetic retinopathy selected this time. The results showed that compared with calcium dobesilate alone, the combination of Shuangdan Mingmu capsules could achieve better therapeutic effects, facilitate the recovery of various indicators of patients, and promote the early return to health of patients.
