This chapter explores the potential integration of Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) technologies with slow tourism. An existing model developed by the authors to define the location of e-bike charging stations is applied to the most relevant Italian planning strategies related to cycle tourism, i.e., the National System of Tourist Cycling Routes. This study enables us to refine certain aspects of the model, such as its application to cycle routes crossing areas with different orography, and demonstrate the usability and scalability of this optimization tool.
