Designing Slow Tourism with EVSE Technologies: A Critical Review
摘要
The chapter discusses a collection of case studies on cycle paths incorporating EVSE technologies. The aim is to analyse the installation process of EVSE services in different European contexts, focusing on the location, goals and implementation process of the projects, as well as the private or public actors involved. The analysis tackles solely with cases related to extra-urban and leisure mobility, thus excluding urban and commuter uses. It represents one of the first syntheses on this topic and demonstrates the importance of private actors in developing these projects, as well as the random distribution of EVSE services: e-bikes services are still seen exclusively as products to sell, with no precise plan to integrate them with slow travel infrastructures and the territory.
