The purpose of this study is to examine how organizational processes mediate the relationship between knowledge management (KM) strategies and technological innovation in Jordanian public universities. Considering the growing pressure exerted on higher education institutions to change with the challenges of the globe, KM becomes a crucial instrument for improving institutional performance, inspiring innovation and sustainability. The research demonstrates the role of KM practices in knowledge creation, dissemination, and application in the adoption of innovative technologies for improving educational quality and operational efficiency. Key mediators for KM practices to become actional innovations and address systemic problems are identified. The study also identifies barriers to technological adoption and provides targeted recommendations to overcome these barriers including infrastructural limitations and cultural resistance. This research integrates sustainability principles and aligns institutional strategies to global development goals to provide actionable insights for policymakers, educators, and university administrators to improve KM effectiveness and innovation in higher education. This finding draws attention to the KM strategies as a powerful force in repositioning Jordanian Public Universities as global academic leaders.
