The Anathema of Work-Life (Family) Balance of Lebanese Working Mothers on Well-being and Organizational Development: A Conceptual Analysis
摘要
This conceptual analysis examines the work-life balance (WLB) challenges faced by Lebanese working mothers and their impact on well-being and organizational development. Set against Lebanon’s unique socio-cultural and economic context, the study explores the interplay between WLB, traditional gender norms, and career advancement opportunities for women. Highlighting the disproportionate impact of economic crises on women, the research underscores the need to implement policies and practices for promoting flexible work arrangements, family support systems, and stress management to enhance both individual well-being and organizational growth. The findings advocate for systemic support at the familial, organizational, and national levels to address these challenges and pave the way for greater gender equality, inclusion, and career advancement opportunities for women in Lebanon.
