The implementation of Internet of Things (IoT) in the agricultural fields brings more yield for various food crops. The proposed banana farming using IoT has proven to be more efficient for increased productivity in cultivation. Technologies such as sensors have been used for analyzing real time data such as moisture presence in the soil and to calculate the humidity in the soil/air. This data has been uploaded to the cloud via Internet for further processing that allows the farmers to understand the automatic irrigation methods that ease their manual work. In this proposed method, a mobile based application through IoT has been used for recommendation systems such as water level monitoring and temperature alerts. This approach enhances efficiency, contributes to sustainable agricultural practices, ensuring improved productivity and quality in banana farming and cultivation.
