Survey of Coverage Problems in Multi-Interface Wireless Networks
摘要
Over the past two decades, the number and diversity of devices have increased significantly, particularly with the evolution of the Internet of Things, leading to the adoption of a wide range of wireless communication interfaces. This technological diversification has motivated the development of new theoretical models, commonly referred to as multi-interface wireless networks, which extend classical graph optimization problems by assuming that each device, represented as a vertex, is equipped with a set of available communication interfaces. In this work, we provide a concise overview of the most relevant research problems in the area of multi-interface wireless networks and survey the main coverage models together with their associated computational results.
