Improvement on Distance Vector-Hop Geolocalization Algorithm in Wireless Sensor Networks with Constraints
摘要
Wireless sensor networks are enormously used in different environments to execute diverse surveillance tasks. In many of such tasks, node geolocalization is inherently one of the system’s parameters. This paper presents a new geometric approach which can improve the poor locating performance of the typical Distance Vector-Hop method. Our goal is to propose a much more realistic model providing the positioning of patients in medical environments and to provide an effective improvement even when the problem is affected by node failures. The influences of anchors on the algorithm and simulation results are also explored in this paper.
