Since its opening, the TCM-Klinik Bad Kötzting has enjoyed the scientific support of several universities. LMU and TU Munich, as well as DIT Deggendorf and University of Graz, deserve special mention in this context. As part of the Patient Care Evaluation Programme (PEP), the clinic’s evaluation and quality assurance profile is compiled annually. This profile initially details the outcomes of the pilot project with the statutory health insurance provider AOK Bayern concerning obesity and stress, the application for the IHM lifestyle programme to be recognized as a supplementary rehabilitation service by the statutory health insurance provider, the status of the accompanying doctoral theses and the pre-hospital drug tests for purity and contamination. The profile also shows the new structure of the case report and a short form requested by psychologists with a focus on psychometric data. Furthermore, progress reports for individual patients and patient groups are presented on the web portal for monitoring and evaluation purposes. Another section highlights the various IHM offerings developed by the core team as introductory and short versions for spa guests and residents. Finally, the current publication status on TCM and individual TCM components for defined indication areas. The chapter concludes with a list of books and articles published by the clinic since its establishment.
