Intervention Profile
摘要
The clinic’s intervention profile focuses on the prescribed traditional Chinese medicines (TCMs) and clinical acupuncture. The 216 individual TCMs available at the clinic and included in prescriptions are analysed in terms of their overall frequency of administration in decoctions. In 2023, a total of 31,836 individual drugs were documented. Each individual TCM is assigned a specific therapeutic effect. These active principles and single drugs are coded and can therefore be statistically evaluated in terms of their frequency. The coding system was developed in-house and is integrated into the VITERIO® web portal. The most frequently used active principle was that for strengthening the blood (Xue) and dissolving blood congestion. The most prescribed drugs were Astragali radix and Angelicae sinensis radix. A total of 7946 acupuncture sessions were carried out in 2023, involving 819 documented patients and 83,955 documented acupuncture points. The most frequently used acupoints are GV (Governing Vessel) 20, LI (Large Intestine) 4 and ST (Stomach Meridian) 36. In addition, this chapter will provide a brief overview of other TCM applications and other non-TCM therapies.
