Digital Twin (DTs) is a revolutionary technology in the manufacturing process. This new technology has the ability to connect physical and virtual models. In order to maintain communication between the two parties, DTs generate huge volumes of data stored in cyberspace. The data generated is susceptible to cybersecurity attacks. This research looks at the cybersecurity risks of the industrial sector that integrates cyber-physical systems (CPS), and shows how DTs can face cyber threats and improve their security in the industrial environment. According to the literature, DTs can play a proactive role in defending against cyber threats. Our study proposes a cybersecurity framework (CSDT) that can be directly embedded into the DTs system. As a case study, we try to integrate our cybersecurity architecture for DT in thermal power Plants (TPP) based on the O-MASE concept to open the door to a new perspective of using DTs for security and resilience in the industrial realm.

摘要
