The Government often undertakes several new projects to provide added facilities in tourist spots. Recently, the Government has been involving the residents and tourists, in addition to the ministers, in the decision-making process through crowdsourcing in smart cities. Herein, the residents, ministers, and tourists (stakeholders) submit their preferences to the system, which declares a list of selected projects. However, the current methods do not account for the frequency of visits of individual tourists, when frequent visitors better understand the promoting factors for tourism. This work applies voting under preferences to this setting and proposes the Frequency sensItive cRowdsourced projEct selection using Bucket allOcated ShapLey values for Tourism (FIREBOLT) in smart cities, a strategyproof and Pareto-optimal mechanism to aggregate the stakeholders’ preferences. The proposed mechanism is validated with simulation.

摘要
