Development of Methodology for Assessing the Competitiveness of Airlines Using Multi-criteria Approach

The article examines the process of assessing the competitiveness of an airline using a multi-criteria approach. It is established that the competitiveness of an airline is a very complex and comprehensive concept consisting of various categories and criteria, the number of which is influenced by a number of factors: service quality, pricing policy, safety, customer loyalty, financial stability and operational efficiency. It is determined that the process of managing an airline to increase its competitiveness in the market consists of introducing innovative services, reducing costs, expanding routes, updating the fleet and implementing environmental initiatives. The study emphasizes the importance of the proposed approach to assessing the competitiveness of airlines, which makes it possible to take into account several factors, indicators (financial, operational, market, service quality, innovativeness) in a single numerical index and integrating them into a single model. In addition, multi-criteria assessment provides a more transparent and objective analysis, which is extremely important for investors, partners and regulatory authorities.
