Multicriteria Decision Methods for Sustainable Software Development
摘要
Multicriteria decision methods aim at supporting decisions when several conflicting points of view need to be considered. This is often the case in the evaluation of alternative software engineering projects, for which not only cost/profit matters, but also other less quantifiable criteria, such as team well-being and project sustainability. This chapter provides an short overview of the main multicriteria decision methods, discuss some of their weaknesses and strengths, and present a didactic case study on ranking programming languages using outranking methods.
