Identifying the Deterritorialised Flow Paradox of Immediate Modernity: Reconstructing Accelerationism as Investigatory Accelerationism
摘要
This chapter marks the theoretical pivot of this work. Building on Deleuze & Guattari’s flow theory, and revisiting Land, Fisher, and later /Acc formulations, it identifies the paradox of immediate modernity: movement is constant, yet transformation absent. Capital’s flows no longer functionally deterritorialise: they loop endlessly. Investigatory Accelerationism (i/Acc) is introduced as an alternative approach, using the logic of speed as a diagnostic tool rather than a weapon of rupture. i/Acc reads immediacy as data, repetition as code, and stagnation as revelation, turning the mechanisms of acceleration inward to expose their operations.
