Rural communities in disaster-prone areas face intersecting socioecological challenges, including climate-induced hazards, economic instability and environmental degradation. This chapter examines the integration of tourism and agriculture as a sustainable livelihood strategy to enhance community resilience in the Ciletuh-Palabuhanratu UNESCO Global Geopark, Indonesia. Applying the Sustainable Livelihood Framework and supported by qualitative fieldwork in nine villages, the study identifies key livelihood assets, vulnerability contexts, institutional dynamics and community strategies. Findings reveal that livelihood diversification through agrotourism and the integration of small-scale enterprises reduces dependency on single-sector economies, enhances adaptive capacity and supports local economic regeneration. The study underscores the pivotal role of regional institutions, social capital and village-level governance in bridging policy frameworks with grassroots initiatives. The chapter highlights the necessity for inclusive development planning, disaster risk management and education-based adaptation to ensure long-term sustainability. By integrating the Geopark’s core pillars of conservation, education and local economic development into community livelihood strategies, the research presents a replicable model for other vulnerable rural areas. This work contributes to addressing the gap in the literature on integrated rural development under socioecological stress. It demonstrates how geopark landscapes can function not only as conservation zones but also as platforms for fostering resilient, self-reliant communities. The chapter positions integrated livelihood planning as a crucial pathway for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals in ecologically sensitive regions.

摘要
