摘要

In the context of Society 5.0, where technology is deeply integrated into various aspects of life to address social challenges, the tourism industry is facing both opportunities and pressures to undergo a significant transformation toward sustainability and humanity. This article analyzes the role of eco-innovation technologies in restructuring the tourism industry toward the Society 5.0 orientation. Based on the synthesis of the literature review from the Scopus database and illustrated by practical cases in Vietnam, the study shows that ecological innovation is not only linked to digital technology and green technology but also requires the active participation of people and institutional-community support mechanisms. The article proposes a three-dimensional integrated analytical framework consisting of technology, human factors, and sustainable transformation, serving as a theoretical foundation to evaluate and shape sustainable tourism development strategies in the post-COVID-19 era. The implications are drawn for interdisciplinary academic research as well as policy and strategy planning at the local level.
