My aim in this chapter is to determine what is wrong with the metaphysical empire. As I said in the penultimate and preceding chapters, mutual exclusivists reject the metaphysical empire due to its connection to imperialism. In view of this connection, they think that the metaphysical empire is an immoral phenomenon in the same way that imperialism is an immoral phenomenon. I have already offered a proper definition of mutual exclusivism and some explanation and analysis of the claims of mutual exclusivists in previous chapters. In this chapter, I shall offer a detailed explanation and analysis of the claims of mutual exclusivists.

My aim in this chapter is to determine what is wrong with the metaphysical empire.
