The paper addresses sustainability in the construction industry, focusing on the impact of Green Steel. In view of growing environmental concerns, the aim is to reduce the negative impacts of this sector by promoting more sustainable alternatives, such as the use of recycled steel or steel produced through cleaner and more efficient processes, without compromising its properties. The paper explores technological advances and analyzes the environmental and economic benefits of Green Steel, in addition to identifying challenges and opportunities related to its adoption. The study demonstrates that the use of Green Steel can significantly transform the construction industry, reducing environmental impacts and promoting more sustainable practices. However, there are still technological, economic and regulatory barriers that need to be overcome through collaboration between the different actors in the production chain. Although the topic is recent and more explored in the automotive industry, the paper emphasizes the need for greater awareness and application of Green Steel in the construction industry. This approach can contribute to the reduction of carbon emissions and the efficient use of resources in the sector. Thus, the study seeks to foster debate on its relevance and encourage additional research to consolidate the use of Green Steel in sustainable construction.

摘要
