The section investigates the current role of HFE in the design of green, sustainable buildings and its relationship to the Sustainable Development Goals–SDGs. A comparison of the main sustainable building rating tools from a human factors’ perspective is provided to identify which, how, and what human-related factors are included in their assessment criteria. A discussion is proposed about HFE’s further contributions to the green building domain.

摘要

The section investigates the current role of HFE in the design of green, sustainable buildings and its relationship to the Sustainable Development Goals–SDGs.
