Experimental Investigation of Layer Number Effects on Mechanical Properties of the Jute FRP Laminate
摘要
The present study has focused on the tensile behavior of jute fiber-Laminates. The influence of the number of layers is a key factor in the effectiveness of composite materials. While looking into synthetic reinforcements, this became an important point: How would the configuration of a laminate affect the mechanical performance of natural eco-friendly fibers like jute? This work enables a better of the structural Performance of Jute Fibre-Reinforced Sustainable Material. The Laminated Polymers reinforced with jute fibers were prepared manually by a wet lay-up technique. The Tensile properties of the Jute-FRP composite were subjected to uniaxial loading. The experimental results demonstrated that increasing number of Jute fiber layers remarkably increases the tensile strength of the laminates. It was noted that the maximum value of tensile strength It was shown in the case of the reinforced with three layers of Jute fibers.
