Collaborative and Co-creative Communication with AI
摘要
This chapter explores advanced forms of human–AI communication that emerge when generative AI is engaged as a collaborative and co-creative partner. Moving beyond instructional interaction and error avoidance, it examines how communication supports shared thinking, idea generation and joint production of meaningful outcomes. The chapter analyses the transition from task-based interaction to collaboration, the use of generative AI for parallel thinking and idea generation and the dynamics of co-creative writing, design and problem solving. It further examines the role of AI as a cognitive partner in reasoning support and highlights the importance of explicit human–AI role negotiation in maintaining alignment, trust and responsibility. Throughout the chapter, the author emphasises that collaboration with AI depends not on autonomy or authority but on communicative competence, reflective engagement and human oversight. These collaborative communication practices illustrate how generative AI can extend human cognitive and creative capacities while preserving human agency and accountability.
