Principles of Teamwork in Digital Twin Factory Projects
摘要
Creating a digital twin of a factory is a major undertaking. Developing a comprehensive simulation model requires mapping physical buildings, technical resources, and all operational and management processes. When integrated, these elements form a cohesive digital twin. While traditional simulation models often focused on solving isolated problems, the rapid evolution of technology and digitalization now requires companies to analyze the entire system holistically. Consequently, organizations are increasingly adopting digital twins to evaluate overall system performance and predict how changes in one area might impact the entire enterprise. At the Poznan University of Technology’s Faculty of Engineering Management, students recently developed a digital twin of an automotive assembly area. This article outlines a teamwork methodology for large-scale digital twin projects, detailing the necessary steps based on the experiences and insights gained from that project.
