A Low-Cost Model for Digital Transformation and Cybersecurity in Production Management
摘要
Digital transformation in production management has become a key driver of operational efficiency and industrial competitiveness. However, the implementation of digital technologies presents significant challenges, particularly when organizations seek low-cost solutions that also ensure strong cybersecurity and operational continuity. This study conducts a systematic literature review and proposes a low-cost conceptual model that integrates digital transformation practices with robust cybersecurity measures in production management. By examining the relationship between accessible digital technologies—such as low-cost IoT sensors, modular automation systems, and open-source platforms—and essential cybersecurity requirements, the study identifies the main enablers and barriers to achieving secure and economically viable digitalization. The proposed model aims to guide organizations, especially small and medium-sized enterprises, in adopting secure, scalable, and financially sustainable digital solutions. The central research question addressed is: How can a low-cost model be developed to integrate digital transformation and cybersecurity for improved efficiency in production management? The findings contribute to a practical and comprehensive approach, offering valuable insights for academics, policymakers, and industry practitioners.
