The pursuit of digital transformation entails a range of challenges across various domains, with asset management being no exception. In this context, the evaluation of asset management process maturity constitutes a critical foundation for enabling a successful digital transformation. This chapter offers a comprehensive review of maturity assessment models relevant to asset management within the framework of operational excellence. It examines the key requirements involved and proposes an assessment model intended to support the systematic planning and monitoring of actions necessary to achieve excellence in asset management as part of the broader digital transformation agenda. Accordingly, this chapter introduces a novel visual maturity model designed to support continuous improvement and facilitate comprehensive digital readiness assessment.
