Response of Near-Surface Sedimentary Rock Acoustic Emission to a Nearby Lightning Discharge at Karymshina Observation Site
摘要
A response of near-surface sedimentary rock acoustic emission to a lightning discharge was detected for the first time. It was observed in the time vicinity of the discharge, which occurred at the distance of about 1.2 km from Karymshina observation site during the disturbances of meteorological parameters and atmospheric electric field near the ground surface. Possible mechanism of acoustic emission generation by near-surface sedimentary rocks during a close lightning discharge was suggested and considered.
