This chapter critiquescritique several solutions to the failures of higher education in America, particularly in view of their implications with respect to justice. It concludes that neither liberal, neoliberal, nor postliberal visions of education are the best solutions to the failures of higher educationhigher education today. Rather, the solution is to be found in a vision of higher education that moves beyond liberal, neoliberal, and postliberal conceptions. In fact, the practice of each of them will only lead to more failures, specifically with respect to justice. Therefore, until we establish of vision of education that meets the needs of critical justice, higher education in America will continue to be a failure.
