A 59-year-old woman with delayed healing at the site of left big toe amputation underwent revision of the left limb of the aorto-bifemoral graft. Procedures included a femoral endarterectomy extending for a distance of 1.5 cm into the proximal segment of the profunda femoris artery with a patch graft and a satisfactory outcome. Simultaneous chronic left superficial femoral artery occlusion did not require revascularization. The patient had a prior coronary bypass graft, carotid endarterectomy, and live donor renal transplant.

摘要

A 59-year-old woman with delayed healing at the site of left big toe amputation underwent revision of the left limb of the aorto-bifemoral graft. Procedures included a femoral endarterectomy extending for a distance of 1.5 cm into the proximal segment of the profunda femoris artery with a patch graft and a satisfactory outcome. Simultaneous chronic left superficial femoral artery occlusion did not require revascularization. The patient had a prior coronary bypass graft, carotid endarterectomy, and live donor renal transplant.
