Rupture of Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Due to Type IB Endoleak in a Patient with Prior Endovascular Repair for a Ruptured Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm
摘要
Following endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR) for a ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysm, the patient presented 6 years later with rupture due to type IB endoleak. The second repair was performed by (realigning) the iliac limbs. The repair has remained satisfactory for over 2 years. The importance of follow-up imaging studies following EVAR is emphasized.
